THE FINAL STEPS!
The last leg of the mission is upon us!
This week, the church is finally receiving the packages!
Our goal is to help them with final costs of receiving the boxes, and to help them celebrate with a fun Christmas party where all of the children will receive their gifts! Our goal is $600. CTK will be providing this donation this week through Western Union. Any additional funds received above and beyond the goal will go toward helping them put on an amazing party!

WE’VE DONE THIS BEFORE!
This is a ministry that Christ the King has done before! The families at Christ Our Savior Philippines are very near and dear friends to Christ the King New Paltz.
Here’s a quick VIDEO the church sent as a Thank You after the last time we completed this mission. This was the party we helped pay for where the children received their gifts.
2022 CHRISTMAS TIMELINE
JUNE 2022 – VBS DONATIONS
At VBS, the kids worked together to raise money to buy toys and gifts for the children. Each day they would bring in coins and dollar bills to donate to bringing Christmas to the Philippines. Every day, the kids would learn a new lesson about God, and on the last day, we learned that God is Surprising! And He sure is! There was an anonymous donor who came forward on the last day to match all of the donations received that week. What a blessing!
JULY 2022 – CHRISTMAS IN JULY
On July 12, the kids came dressed in their cutest Christmas pajamas to celebrate Christmas in July! Everyone who came donated a toy for the children in the Philippines. At Mass, we sang Christmas Carols. The kids then came together in a large formation to pray over 4 blankets, which is something these kids do all the time to lift up other children in our own active ministry here called CTK Kids to Kids. After Mass, we ate hot dogs and popcorn and watched “The Star”.
AUGUST 2022 – PACKING PARTY
The CTK Kids Ministry leaders came together to pack the boxes with all of the toys and donations. All of the money that was received went directly to purchasing even more donations and sending the boxes overseas!
NOVEMBER 2022 – READY TO PICK UP
The packages will be picked up out of Customs THIS WEEK!
DECEMBER 2022 – CELEBRATE!
A celebration will be organized for the children to receive their gifts!
